Olympic Engineering is the new legal entity of the division which will operate two airplane hangars at Athens International Airport, with technical capabilities that will be unmatched in the region. Building on the excellent base of Olympic Air's engineers and know-how, together with additional personnel of Greek and international origin, Olympic Engineering will boast facilities of over 76,500 square meters to support maintenance of aircraft.
At Olympic Engineering, we acknowledge that an efficient and cost effective Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organization is a central and key activity in the lifecycle of aircraft, engines and components.
The immediate priority of Olympic Engineering is to offer first class services to its customers, as well as refocusing its businesses and creating a platform for global market expansion.
In order to address the changing needs and priorities of its customers in the challenging market environment, Olympic Engineering is undertaking company-wide initiatives based on continuous improvement methodologies, integration and consolidation, as well as focusing on core activities.

Amongst the first priorities is to obtain the following appropriate approvals for Line and Base Maintenance:
- EASA Part 145
- FAR 14 CFR 145
- TTCA (Transport Canada)
The Overhaul service that will be offered by Olympic Engineering will range from handling of general events for a single aircraft to full support packages for commercial airplanes.
Line maintenance will be developed to cover a number of aircraft types including the Airbus A320 family, the Bombardier Q400 & 100 series and the Boeing 737, 767 and 777 series. The service will include:
- Transit Checks and Defect Rectification
- Daily Check
- Weekly Check
- Check A
- Check B
- Special inspection packages
