Self check-in is a service that allows you to check-in yourself and your travel companions upon your arrival at the airport from 24 hours to 30* minutes before the scheduled departure time of your flight. Just head to the Self Service Kiosks and check-in for one or more flights!
The self check-in step-by-step guide
You may confirm your information with the following four ways:
- Insert the credit card you used to pay for your ticket
- Insert your Aegean Miles+Bonus frequent flyer card or the Lufthansa Miles&More card
- Insert your passport
- Type your e-ticket number
During the check-in process the system will automatically assign you a seat on the plane. Should you wish to select a different seat, you have the chance to change it on the seating plan which will appear on the screen. If you travel with a group you may select seats for all the group members (up to 9 persons) who have not yet checked in.
Print out your boarding card.
If you have luggage that needs to be checked-in, head directly to the dedicated "Drop-off" counters at the airports. Should you not have any luggage you can proceed directly towards your gate.
Head to the airport gate at least 30 minutes before the departure time of your flight. Keep available your ID or your passport, as well as your boarding card.
Business class passengers and Gold Miles+Bonus card holders
Dedicated check-in counters are available to all international airports for our Business class passengers and for the Gold Miles+Bonus members.
On our domestic network the dedicated check-in counters for business class and Miles+Bonus gold card holders are available in Athens, Thessaloniki, Heraklion and Alexandroupolis airports. As our priority is to serve you as swiftly as possible, on the rest of our domestic network every effort will be made to assist you in the best and most efficient way.
If you are a connecting passenger, Olympic Air offers you the opportunity to check- in your luggage at your point of departure and pick it up at your final destination – provided that certain conditions are met. For more information, please contact our reservations department.
Please note that you will not be allowed to travel if you don’t present an ID card or passport during the check-in procedure. The name on the identity documents must be exactly the same as the name stated on your ticket.
