October is dedicated to the Cyclades, possibly the most famous islands of Greece. Though this month may mean autumn, it does not have to mean the end of summer holidays or brief getaways.
Just a stone's throw from Athens, this blue-and-white cluster of islands of all shapes and sizes, alternative and cosmopolitan, romantic and traditional is ready to welcome you and treat you to authentic local flavours with azure blue waters as a backdrop.
With sacred Delos at the epicentre, a trip to the Cyclades begins with Kea and Kythnos for nearby day trips, Andros and its maritime heritage, the hidden beauty of Tinos and the neighbouring but distinctive Sifnos and Serifos. It continues to the elegant capital of Syros, exuberant Naxos, youthful Paros and its sibling Antiparos, cosmopolitan Mykonos and romantic Santorini, lunar Milos with stark white Kimolos at its side, and ends with the alternative little Cyclades: Amorgos, with its breathtaking views, unusual Ios and the small but gorgeous Sikinos, Anafi and Folegandros.
Throughout the month of October, our lounges and aircraft will take on a Cycladic air and our passengers will be able to sample almond sweets from Tinos and savoury cookies from Milos, while visitors to our lounges will get a taste of San Michalis cheese sandwiches, Naxos arseniko cheese and citrus liqueur, soft kopanisti cheese spread from Mykonos and Tinos, Santorini fava dip, almond sweets from Mykonos, Nissos beer, and Karamolegos 2015 vintage wine from Santorini.
Get ready for this month's journey to be filled with flavours and images of the Cyclades that will transport you to the glimmering beaches, lunar landscapes and stately towns and convince you to make them your next destination!
