Olympic Air participates in "Earth Hour: 2011"
On Saturday, March 26 from 8:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m, all offices and hangars operated by Olympic Air will participate in “Earth Hour” 2011. During this hour, all lighting, signage and equipment will be switched off, in a symbolic move revealing the importance of saving power and sending a message of hope; hope for a future where people live in harmony with nature, where the public actively protects biodiversity and promotes sustainable management of renewable natural resources.
Olympic Air encourages its employees, partners and passengers to take a stand against climate change and support this campaign by switching off the lights in their houses. Earth Hour has done a lot to raise awareness of saving power. It brings participants together to create a better future for our planet.
