Premium Economy: 5+1 reasons to travel in a distinctive new class rolled out by Olympic Air
The growing popularity of the premium economy cabin continues as Olympic Air has decided that the time has come to roll out a “Premium Economy” class on their Bombardier Q400s. Upon first glance, it looks like a strong entry.
Olympic Air presents to the discerning passengers a modern and flexible proposal, specifically designed for people who want to stand out, while keeping costs low: The Premium Economy Class, which combines the comforts and the high level of Olympic Air services without being expensive. The Premium Economy Class is available on Bombardier Q400 aircraft and is unique, combining five top advantages:
1. Special distinctive seating space at the front of the aircraft cabin with new leather covered seats and separating curtain from the other passengers.
2. Special privileges during boarding procedure, eliminating time delays, check-in in an exclusive counter and higher priority pass, regarding airport security checks in a fast lane mode.
3. Free access to the CIP Lounges of Olympic Air(*) where the passengers can stay and relax until their departure time.
4.Special in flight services are offered: Coffee, tea, wine, beer and soft drinks/beverages after 13:00. Also available are daily press (*), cold snacks and sweets in all flights. 5.Premium Economy passengers gain more miles using the frequent flyer Travelair Club programme of Olympic Air.
And finally the price:
The new Premium Economy Class will be available starting from July 18th, 2011 for 18 domestic routes which are operated by Bombardier Q400 aircraft, and for all international routes from Athens to (and from) Sofia, Tirana and Belgrade.
Introduction fare for using the new class for a flight departing from Athens to all domestic routes is 127, 6 euros (all taxes included), and from all international destinations to Athens , fare is 109 euros. Also 109 euros is the fare for all direct routes connecting Thessaloniki to Heraklion, Rhodes, Chania and Mytilene.
Prices are effective for sales starting from July 14th to July 24th, 2011 and for flights from July 18th to August 31th, 2011.
