Paros’ wineries are considered among the Aegean’s best, producing sweet Malvazia wine. Paros is a gourmet paradise! Try octopus pilaf, sweet cheese pie (with unsalted cheese, sugar and cinnamon), rabbit stew (the meat is marinated for 12 hours!), the bizarrely named "fur" fish, served sun-dried and ideally combined with wine or ouzo, barbecued octopus, beans and tomato balls. Chickpea balls and chickpea soup are also not to be missed.
Nightlife: The port of Naoussa and its numerous bars, is usually crammed and is the center of the island’s nightlife. The most popular bars are the “Agosta”, the “Barbarossa” and the “Aeola” with Greek music. For a lounge atmosphere, try, “Sante” and “Cosmos”. In Parikia, enjoy the sunset with cocktails in “Evinos”.
