*For flights operated with AEGEAN fleet (A319, A320 & A321), the carry-on bag cannot exceed 56cmX45cmX25xm in dimension (including handles, pockets and wheels).


Important notes

  • If your cabin baggage is of excessive weight/dimensions and cannot be stored in this manner, or is considered unsafe for any reason, it must be checked in as hold baggage.
  • All additional items such us overcoat, umbrella, small camera, or bag of duty free items must be carried within your cabin baggage. In any other case, your additional item will be counted as extra piece and you will be charged accordingly.
  • If your carry-on baggage is within the allowable limits but there is not sufficient space in the cabin, you will be asked to check it for free carriage in the hold. This procedure takes place at the time of boarding the aircraft. You will then be given a baggage claim receipt, you will not be charged and you can collect your bag at the baggage claim carousel at your destination airport. You should make sure to first remove any objects that are unsuitable for transport in the cargo hold (e.g. laptops, cameras, etc.) before checking in the bag.
  • For infants (0-2 years of age) you are allowed one baggage up to 6 kilos maximum dimensions 55cmX40cmX23cm with the necessities for their nutrition and hygiene, depending on the flight duration, as well as one collapsible stroller.
  • Cabin baggage allowance for children (between 2-11 years) is the same as for adults. Children, over the age of 2, travelling are also entitled to one collapsible stroller.
     

What can I carry with me?

  • Liquid items, in individual containers with a capacity no more than 100 ml must be contained in transparent plastic re-sealable bags with maximum capacity that does not exceed 1 litre. This plastic re-sealable bag is limited to one per passenger and must be sealed and delivered to Security Screening separately for examination. 
  • You may be requested to provide proof indicating the need for liquids required for medical or dietary purposes and baby foods be used during the flight. 
  • Products that are sold in shops beyond the Security Screening points (Duty Free Shops). These products should be placed in a special sealed bag. This special sealed bag, which should be provided by the shop, must not be opened before you are screened - otherwise the contents may be confiscated at the checkpoint. All these liquids are additional to the quantities in the re-sealable plastic bag mentioned above. 

Security screening staff is obliged to ask you to dispose of any liquid products that do not comply with the conditions of the new European Regulation. Such items will be sent for recycling as useless.

What I cannot carry with me?

  • Weapons and in general any item which is or might appear to be capable of firing a projectile or causing injury, such as: parts of firearms, replicas and imitations of weapons such as toy air guns or any kind of pistols or pellet guns, launchers of any kind, harpoon guns or any device designed to immobilize or administer electric shock. 
  • Pointed or sharp objects of any kind or material capable of causing injury, such as: penknives, stilettos, knives, axes, arrows, scalpels, scissors or any other sharp or pointed tool or household item. 
  • Any blunt instrument capable of causing injury, such as: sporting bats, clubs, canes and rackets of any kind, oars, billiard cues, fishing rods, martial arts equipment.

Any such items found will be confiscated by the airport authorities; the company accepts no responsibility for their return to passengers, nor can there be any question of compensation being paid in the event of loss. Items of the sort described may be carried only in the baggage checked in by customers for carriage in the hold.
