When flying aboard our Airbus fleet type (319, 320, 321) and Turboprops (ATR 72-600), you have the chance to choose from the following 3 different seat types:

• Extra Legroom
• Up Front
• Standard

Extra Legroom, Up Front and Standard seats can be booked from the time of the ticket reservation until minutes prior to departure. Seat change is not allowed while on board.

*The seat preselection service applies for AEGEAN and Olympic Air operated flights.
**It is not available if the validating Airline Carrier is other than AEGEAN or Olympic Air.

Charges for seat selection

The tables below display the charges applying for passengers flying Economy Class. Please note that for Flex Fare category, Standard seats are free of charge while for ComfortFlex Fare category, both Standard and UpFront seats are free of charge.

Business Class seats selection is free at all times.

Seat selection is available from the time of booking for all fares.

• If you wish to book your seat through our Call Centre after your ticket has been issued, a service fee of 8 EUR per passenger will apply.

Benefits for Gold Miles+Bonus members

As a Gold Miles+Bonus member, you are entitled to an exclusive 50% discount for Up Front Seats on domestic and international routes. Please make sure that your booking includes your Miles+Bonus member ID in order to enjoy this exclusive benefit when selecting your seat.

Travelling with infants & children

When an adult travels with a child under the same flight reservation, it is compulsory that the same seat type is selected for both. Additionally, for safety reasons, children or adults travelling with infants may not opt for an emergency exit seat (e.g. Extra Legroom seat type) or seats located in the row in front and/or behind the emergency exits.

Passengers requiring special assistance

Please note that when you request a mobility Aid such as a wheelchair while booking your ticket, all seats, except emergency exit seats and adjacent rows, will automatically be displayed, so as to facilitate your selection. In case you submit the relevant request after completing your booking, please be informed that the preselected seat will be cancelled with no refund.

Emergency exit seat type

Passengers may select an exit row seat, unless they:

• are under 18 years old.
• have problems with mobility, strength or dexterity in arms/hands and/or legs and they are unable to reach the emergency exit, manage instructions for evacuating or exit as quickly as possible.
• are unable to understand crew instructions
• have impaired vision or hearing and, as such, cannot follow instructions from the crew
• are unable to relay information verbally to the other passengers
• are pregnant or responsible for someone else, such as infants or young children, which may prevent them from following instructions
• suffer from a condition that may cause them harm if they execute one or more of the safety instructions
• require a seatbelt extension
• use a wheelchair or other mobility aid
• use supplementary oxygen or a portable oxygen concentrator
• are travelling with an emotional support pet, service animal or family pet.

Changes & refunds for Seat Selection

Changed your mind? You can easily and conveniently change or cancel your flight ticket with an existing seat reservation under "My Booking". 

When you paid for a seat reservation and wish to change it, please note that if the new seat’s price is higher, the difference will be charged. Please note that charges already paid for seat reservations cannot be reimbursed if there are no equivalent seats available for reservation on the changed flight (i.e. same type and with the same characteristics).

Should you wish to cancel your flight, no refund is granted for the purchased preferential seat.

For involuntary seat changes incurred due to operational reasons (such aircraft change or other safety or security causes), we will automatically assign an equivalent seat to you. Nevertheless, in the event that such a reallocation is unfeasible, you are entitled to a refund.
