Economy Class

Light Fare
Seat selection anytime from booking at a charge. If you do not want to purchase a Seat, you will be assigned a random one during check-in. In case you wish to change your assigned seat you may select either a standard, Up Front or Extra Legroom at a charge.
Flex Fare
Seat selection anytime from booking. Standard seat selection is free of charge. If you do not want to select a seat, you will be assigned a random one during check-in. In case you wish to change your assigned seat you may select either a standard free of charge or Up Front and Extra Legroom at a charge.
Family Fare
Free seat selection for standard seats any time from the time of booking or during check-in. In case you wish to change your assigned seat, you can select a standard seat for free and an Up front or Extra Legroom seat at a charge.
ComfortFlex Fare
Seat selection anytime from booking. Standard and Up Front seat selection is free of charge upon availability. If you do not want to select a seat, you will be assigned a random one during check-in. In case you wish to change your assigned seat you may select either a standard or Up Front free of charge and Extra Legroom at a charge.
Business Class
As a Business Class passenger, you may select the seat you prefer in advance, free of charge. Select your favorite seat online while booking your ticket, or after via
My Booking or AEGEAN’s Call Center.

Charges for Seat Selection
When flying aboard our Airbus fleet type (319, 320, 321) and Turboprop ATR 72-600, you have the chance to choose in advance the seat type you prefer, either an Extra Legroom Seat, Up Front Seat or Standard.
You can book it from the time of the ticket reservation until minutes prior to departure. Seat change is not allowed while on board.
The tables below display the charges applying for passengers flying Economy Class. For Flex fares, Standard seat selection is free of charge from the moment of booking. For ComfortFlex fare category, Standard and Upfront Seat are free of charge. Business Class seats selection is free at all times.
Fees depend on the destination and the date of the flights. The actual fare will be shown at the time of booking.
Benefits for Gold Miles+Bonus members
As a Gold Miles+Bonus member, you are entitled to an exclusive 50% discount for Up Front Seats on domestic and international routes. Please make sure that your booking includes your Miles+Bonus member ID in order to enjoy this exclusive benefit when selecting your seat.

- Booking your seat through AEGEAN call center after your ticket has been issued is subject to a service fee of €8 per passenger.
Family Travels
Due to safety regulations children or adults travelling with infants are not allowed to select an emergency exit seat (i.e. Extra Legroom seat type). In addition, an adult and child travelling under one flight reservation must select the same seat type.
Passengers requiring special assistance - Request for mobility Aids
Please note that when you request a mobility Aid such as a wheelchair while booking your ticket, all seats, except emergency exit seats and adjacent rows, will automatically be displayed, so as to facilitate your selection. In case you submit the relevant request after completing your booking, please be informed that the preselected seat will be cancelled with no refund.
Emergency exit seat type
Passengers may select an exit row seat, unless they:
- are under 15 years old.
- have problems with mobility, strength or dexterity in arms/hands and/or legs and they are unable to reach the emergency exit, manage instructions for evacuating or exit as quickly as possible.
- are unable to understand crew instructions
- have impaired vision or hearing and, as such, cannot follow instructions from the crew
- are unable to relay information verbally to the other passengers
- are pregnant or responsible for someone else, such as infants or young children, which may prevent them from following instructions
- suffer from a condition that may cause them harm if they execute one or more of the safety instructions
- require a seatbelt extension
- use a wheelchair or other mobility aid
- use supplementary oxygen or a portable oxygen concentrator
- are travelling with a service animal or family pet.
Changes & refunds for Economy Class Seat selection
- If you change your mind you can easily manage your booking with an existing seat reservation under the My Booking section.
- If you paid for a seat reservation and wish to change it, please note that if the new seat’s price is higher, the difference will be charged.
- Charges already paid for a seat reservation cannot be reimbursed if there are no equivalent seats available for reservation on the changed flight (i.e. same type and with the same characteristics).
- Should you wish to cancel your flight, no refund is granted for the purchased Preferred Seat.
- For involuntary seat changes incurred due to operational reasons (such aircraft change or other safety or security causes), we will automatically assign an equivalent seat to you. Nevertheless, in the unfortunate event that such a reallocation is unfeasible, you are entitled to a refund.
