Planning your trip
If the pregnancy has no complications, pregnant women can fly without a medical certification until the end of the 36th week of a single pregnancy (until one month before the estimated day of delivery) or until the end of the 28th week of a multiple pregnancy.
Fill out, sign and carry with you the "Pregnancy Statement for Air Travel".
If you need to travel beyond the 28th week of pregnancy we recommend that the pregnant women carry a medical note from their gynecologist or midwife which includes that your pregnancy has no complications, the estimated delivery date and that the pregnancy does not prevent you from flying. In case that you wish to travel within seven days prior to your estimated delivery date, you must be accompanied by either a gynecologist, a midwife or a qualified nurse.
